I find it hard to "enjoy" winter sometimes. Short days, cold, wind, snow, dreary. I realized the other day we're in the middle of winter. Just have to get through January and February and things start to turn green again, days get longer and I see a light toward warmth. Despite the winter days we've had some fun. Time to count my blessings! Christmas was calm and bright and wonderful. Great traditions and family fun (except for the part when Brett got a kidney stone :( Kids just started skiing. I guess winter is not all bad. Just remember the quote "God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December." James M. Barrie
