Rolls and Reading

Sunday has got to be my most favorite day of the week.  I look forward to Sunday all week, not just because church is at 1 o'clock and it's the only day I sleep past 7 but because the family is together.  I don't feel guilty about a messy house.  We bake, play games and rest.  This afternoon the girls and I tried a new roll recipe.  60 minute rolls!from Barefoot and Baking.  These rolls really only take 60 minutes and the are delicious!  I love rolls with Sunday dinner but don't always make them.  These are perfect for the procrastinator!
My other favorite activity (not just for Sundays) is reading together.  Megan picked up Enders Game by Orson Scott Card the other day.  This is the one book Brett and I both enjoy.  He couldn't let Meg read it without him.  So he started reading and the three oldest kids are hooked.  I was surprised Grace was enjoying the book. It's a little mature for her but she doesn't want to miss a word.  The kids have even caught Brett trying to read ahead.  They will have none of that!  We've heard a movie might be coming next year...?
