Seize the Day!
Sunday was a beautiful fall day. After church Brett had the idea to head to the South Hills and go for a hike. Sounded fun, enjoyable and relaxing. We ate a quick bite, loaded up and headed for the hills. Beautiful fall colors were everywhere. Just what we needed. Of course, Brett likes to keep things real, so he dared Porter to dive into the little creek. As you can see it ended with the three younger kids down to their underwear (Meg's just a little too old!). It was nice but the water was cold. I was a little hesitant but had to go with the flow. We're making memories, right? Annie's diaper became a little restricting. Off with the diaper! We don't get many days like this. Seize the day! Hope you all take a little time to just live in the moment.

I love it!! What a beautiful day and a beautiful family. Not too many of those warm fall days left. So glad you are making memories with your kids. Someday when you are old they will tell you about this day, because you won't remember it......ha ha, I should know!
